Terms of Service

By accessing or using reiwrite (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

reiwrite provides a voice-to-text transcription and AI text enhancement platform delivered via a desktop application and web interface. The Service uses OpenAI's APIs under the hood to process audio and text. Features include real-time transcription, AI grammar correction, history, and a credit-based usage system.

• You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at legal@reiwrite.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

• New accounts receive a free credit allocation as stated on the registration page.
• Additional credits may be purchased via available credit packs. Prices are shown at the time of purchase.
• Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
• All purchases are final. Refunds are only issued where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion for technical failures caused by us.
• We reserve the right to modify credit pricing and pack offerings at any time with reasonable notice.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Transcribe or process content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or authentication systems.
• Use automated scripts or bots to abuse the Service or harvest data.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its outputs without permission.

You retain all ownership rights to the audio recordings and text you submit. You grant reiwrite a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

The reiwrite name, logo, software, and all related materials are our exclusive intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your dashboard under Settings → Security → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your personal data and transcription history are permanently erased within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT TRANSCRIPTIONS WILL BE PERFECTLY ACCURATE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REIWRITE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless reiwrite and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time via the dashboard. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Credits are forfeited upon termination for cause.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction where reiwrite is incorporated.
